EFFECTS AND POSSIBILITIES OF STRUCTURAL INKOGRAPHY
an extended horizon of artistic imagination

The principle of creating the effect of spatial surface textures - impasto and others such as paint cracking.

The image shows some of the simplest uses.
Impasto, relief, embossing are created thanks to properly prepared layers defined in a gray scale  with transparent ink.

INTERFERENCE

Principle of using optical interference in structural incography
Efekty druku strukturalnego UV

Similar to painting on a glass mirror, except that it can be used selectively adjacent to other effects. Modifications of the thickness and order of layers allow to obtain unprecedented means of artistic expression. It is possible to obtain a pearl color by using compositions with a gradient white.

In nature, we find them on the scales of the wings of exotic butterflies, peacock feathers, but also pearls, where it is a form of (thin-film) interference. In technology, for example, in IMod displays, it allows the use of ambient light to modify part of the brightness of the image.

SHINE and COLORS of METALS. Gloss and matt. Jewelry look

Usually in printing, metallic effects are created using the hotstamping technique, which is associated with certain limitations, as each color requires a separate application and gradients are not possible. Our method allows for smooth transitions from silver to copper, gold, and beyond. And it doesn't stop there - we can even simulate jewelry or medals to some extent.

QUASI-HOLOGRAM EFFECTS

Principle of creation of macro holography. Image changes depending on viewing angle and lighting.

Quasi-holography has a low resolution, but no expensive matrices are needed. It is similarly indestructible. In inkography, it can be used as a watermark or microprint to mark units in limited series. Typically, this effect in giclee is achieved by attaching certificates, hand-signing. Macroholography allows you to discreetly personalize and clearly mark each copy of the work at the stage of creation.
What's more, in itself it can become a means of expression with a special aesthetic. Understanding its essence will reveal new horizons of artistic imagination.

LENTIKULAR EFFECTS

Image-changing effects or colors due to texture striations. Lenticularity.
efekty lentikularne

Lenticular lensing has been known for a long time, but it raises aesthetic objections. Quasi-3D or motion simulating effects are usually computer generated on finished paved substrates. Here the grooves can be modulated, giving new applications. For example, adjusting the image to the lighting conditions prevailing in the place of exposure, illuminating parts, colors. The grooves do not have to be particularly visible. Their amplitude can be variable.

Effects:
- optical interference effect,
- metallic luster, glossy and matte,,
- lenticular effects,

- quasi-holographic effect
- imitations of natural textures: leather, bark, canvas,
- imitations of stones, amber,

- watermarks,
- impasto, relief,

- mosaic,

- stained glass,
- crackleur,

- bookbinding artist.
